The base of the holiday will be in the beautiful and sought-after Ruka-Kuusamo, the program will be complete with transport from the airport to the cabin and for the entire duration of the program. Activities with a trip to Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, huskies, reindeer, snowmobiles, evening aurora hunting excursions, excursions in the Riisitunturi National Park, Oulanka Kiutaköngäs National Park, Oulanka Myllykoski National Park, visit to Ruka Village, visit to Finnish Kota. The program also includes 1 day of freedom to enjoy the cabin and the surrounding nature independently, or organize something extra at the customers’ choice.
TOUR PROGRAM
13.12.2025 Arrival
1. From your arrival at the airport, the guides will be waiting for you. Alfredo, an Italian, and his Finnish wife Tuulia, resident in Finland in Ruka-Kuusamo, both speak perfect Italian, English and Finnish. With private vehicles they will come to pick you up and will use them for the entire holiday until the end of the activity.
2. After arrival, loaded the luggage we will leave for your cabin in Ruka about 2 hours and 30 minutes by car, during the journey we will stop to make a stop in some supermarket to do the shopping, which will be repeated every day at the end of the activity.
3. Once arrived at the cabin we will explain the basic and important things, to let you enjoy the first evening right away, with one of the undisputed protagonists of the holiday, Her Majesty the CABIN. In the meantime always eyes to the sky and tuned in with the undersigned, because every moment is the right one to see the Northern Lights in the sky. The Cabins are usually super equipped and independent, immersed in the forest a few km from the center, with a large living room, bedroom, equipped kitchen, fireplace and sauna and many useful accessories for your holiday, in an optimal position to see the Aurora even independently.
4. Breakfasts and dinners are all done independently, some lunches are included in the excursions, others independently in the places where the activity will be done, such as Santa Claus Village.
5. The use of a cottage is minimum for at least 2 people. Some cottages can also accommodate 10/12 people.
14.12.2025 Reindeer Safari Visit and Lunch in Finnish Kota. Aurora Hunting in the Evening.
Ruka.
1. In the morning after breakfast, we will pick you up with private transport, to reach a nearby place and we will enter the fantastic world of reindeer to go on a Safari with the Queens of Lapland, we will see one of the oldest enclosures in Finland, we will feed these beautiful animals, we will take pictures with them, a 1.5 km sleigh ride accompanied by the Lappish Shepherd. During the activity the life of the Reindeer will be explained to us together with the Lappish Shepherds.
2. After the Safari we will go to lunch in a Finnish Kota next to a beautiful fire, we will delight in typical Lappish dishes, a Reindeer meat soup or a salmon soup, together with bread, cheese and dessert, with some delicious and delicious hot drinks.
3. After the Safari with the fantastic reindeer we will return to our cottages, to relax in the sauna or next to the path, with an intermediate stop at the supermarket if necessary.
4. Daily duration 6/7 hours. (In the evening possible aurora excursion in case of solar activity)
15.12.2025 Oulanka Kiutaköngäs National Park, Visit Ruka Village and Aurora Hunt.
Ruka
1. In the morning as usual we meet at a set time, to take you to the beautiful Oulanka National Park this time to Kiutaköngäs, we will go on an excursion on one of the most suggestive and beautiful forest trails in Lapland.
2. After about 30 minutes by car we will arrive at the park car park, from where the excursion will begin. The route is a circular path with a bit of an initial climb, it will be about 5 km, consisting of a few climbs to go through, for safety and comfort with studded insoles under the boots.
3. On this excursion we will enter the superlative Finnish forest, we will cross heavenly places, we will see waterfalls of the Oulanka River, until we arrive at an ancient reindeer enclosure, where we will explain the history of the reindeer and the Lappish shepherds. Along the way we will arrive at a refuge where we will light a fire to warm up, grill our packed lunch and after a bit of relaxation, we will start walking again to reach the parking lot for our vehicles.
4. During the journey, pleasant and consolidated short moments of mindfulness with professional staff.
5. Once the activity is over, we will return to Ruka Village, for a tour of the clubs and shops in the wonderful village, after which we will return to the hut with a stop at the supermarket.
6. Once back at the hut for a well-deserved rest, always connected with the guides for the possibility of going out hunting for the aurora, one of the most heartfelt and exciting activities.

16.12.2025 Husky Safari + Aurora Hunt Visit
Ruka
1. In the morning we pick you up at your cabins, at the agreed time and we will go on a local safari, where our husky friends will be present. Where you will learn about the way of life of the Lappish husky herders, how these fantastic animals of the Great Lappish North are raised.
2. Arrived at the husky garden, where the dogs are already barking excitedly waiting to leave. Initially the professional guide will give you safety and driving instructions, we will always be with you in case of need, after which he will take you to the starting point, where the dogs and sleds will be ready. One of you will be the driver and the other will sit in the sled. It is possible to change drivers during the trip. The journey can begin! You will ride through the winter forest, where snow-covered trees and quiet swamps whizz past you, while impatient dogs run in front of your sled. Along the way there is also time to admire beautiful and varied landscapes to enjoy with your family
3. The duration of the ride is about 30 min. After the ride, we will meet the dogs of your sled, to pet them and thank them for the emotions experienced. At the end of the activity we enjoy hot drinks and snacks, Finnish black coffee. Oh, what a memorable start to the day!
4. After our husky friends, we will go to a characteristic Finnish place to have lunch on our own, we will visit a Finnish kota by the fire.
5. After the break we will go to the cabin to enjoy the sauna and lighting the fireplace, waiting for the news from the sky for a possible aurora excursion.
6. Activity duration 4 hours.
17.12.2025 Riisitunturi National Park
Posio.
1. In the morning we will pick you up by vehicle, then we will head for the most desired and heartfelt tourist activity, an excursion to the magnificent Riisitunturi National Park, a popular destination for everyone. The journey by car will last approximately 35/40 minutes.
2. With your expert guides you will be given instructions to best experience the excursion in safety. Once you set off, you will explore one of the most important national parks in all of Scandinavia and Europe. It will be an unforgettable day, in one of the most beautiful areas of Finnish Lapland. The excursion will be accompanied by 2 guides, one of which is a Finnish professional in mindfulness (meditation) and life coach, who will make you live a dream within a daydream, explaining every secret of the Park and Finnish culture, another Italian guide expert in excursions for over 27 years in Finland and around the world.
3. The route we will take will be a 4.3 km ring on the Riisitunturi hill, initially there will be a slight climb the rest on the plain. At one point of the excursion we will reach a magnificent characteristic place, to be able to light a nice fire and take a break. After the break we will walk towards the cars with a pleasant descent. During the route we will pass through areas of the magnificent Finnish taiga, until we reach a certain point where the trees begin to look like big and large snow giants. The famous Great Giants of the Great North protectors of this paradise.
4. At the end of the excursion, a trip to the supermarket and return to the hut.
5. Returning to the hut for a well-deserved rest, always in tune with the guides for the possibility of going out hunting for the aurora, one of the unique heart-pounding activities.

18.12.2025 FREE DAY
Ruka. Free day.
1. Those who want can relax all day in the cabin, lighting the fireplace, or have a nice sauna and have fun in total autonomy.
2. For those who want to organize something, there are extra activities outside the program, which can be organized together with us. Such as ice lake fishing, excursions, spa centers, relaxing massages, personalized mindfulness sessions, mental coach, Lappish dinner, etc. etc.
3. Everything must be agreed with the companion in advance to organize everything.
19.12.2025 SNOWMOBILE ACTIVITY 30 km – Visit Oulanka Myllykoski National Park – Visit a characteristic place in Finnish Kota.
Ruka.
1. In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up by private vehicles and we will transfer to the safaris for the legendary motorbike tour. Once at the safari, there will be a check of your driving licences, then you will be given overalls, helmets, gloves, balaclavas to start the tour.
2. This activity will be an unforgettable adventure, you will cross unique landscapes of the beautiful Finnish taiga, driving one of the most characteristic vehicles of the Great Lappish North.
3. Before starting, the professional guide will give all the safety instructions, to best enjoy your adventure with maximum fun. As always, we Italian guides will be there to follow you if you need it.
4. Only adults can drive, 2 people per snowmobile, including 1 guide, and halfway through for those who want, you can change the guide. Children under 140cm tall will be obligatorily towed in a special sled carried by professional guides.
5. Duration approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
6. But the day does not end here. After lunch on your own, a pleasant surprise for you, taking into account the start and end time of the snowmobile activity, you will go to one of the most photographed places in Lapland. To the Oulanka Myllykoski National Park to visit an ancient historic Mill, where we will see unique landscapes, a place more unique than rare so much its uncontested beauty. We could also anticipate the surprise before the snowmobiles, this will be evaluated on site.

20.12.2025 Santa Claus and Return.
Ruka. Last day of the holiday.
In the morning we will leave the cabins in order and leave for Rovaniemi, it will be the day that every person dreams of since they were children, the moment of every child, that of going to the Village to meet the legendary Santa Claus.
2. Once you arrive at the village in each place we will visit, you will receive all the instructions from your guides on what to see in Santa Claus’s village. In the village there is Santa Claus’s post office where you can send postcards to your friends and relatives, the webcam where they can see you live, go around the shops and have lunch.
3. After visiting the village and meeting Santa Claus, we will go to the airport, where you will do the boarding procedures for the return.
It will be a super unforgettable holiday, with your bags full of emotions, joys and unforgettable memories.
