A tour dedicated entirely to wellness and Nature immersed in the most beautiful National Parks of Lapland. The base of the holiday will be in the beautiful and sought-after Ruka-Kuusamo, the program will include transport from the airport to the cabin and for the entire duration of the program. Excursions every evening in search of the Northern Lights, excursions in the Riisitunturi National Park, Oulanka Kiutaköngäs National Park, Oulanka Myllykoski National Park, Korouoma Grand Canyon Park, mindfulness sessions along the trails, visit Ruka Village, plus a trip to Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. The program also includes 1 day of freedom to enjoy the Baita and the surrounding nature independently, or organize something extra at the customers’ choice.
TOUR PROGRAM
22.11.2025 Arrival
1. From your arrival at the airport, the guides will be waiting for you. Alfredo, an Italian, and his Finnish wife Tuulia, residents in Ruka Kuusamo in Finland, both speak perfect Italian, English and Finnish. They will come to pick you up with private vehicles and will use them for the entire holiday until the end of the activity.
2. After arrival, once you have loaded your luggage, we will leave for your cabin in Ruka, about 20 minutes away by car. During the journey, we will stop for a quick stop at some supermarket to do some shopping, which will be repeated every day if necessary at the end of the activity.
3. Once you arrive at the cabin, we will explain the basic and important things to you, to let you enjoy your first evening right away, with one of the undisputed protagonists of the holiday, Her Majesty the BAY. In the meantime, always keep your eyes on the sky and tuned in with me, because every moment is a good one to see the Northern Lights in the sky. The Baite are usually super equipped and independent, immersed in the forest a few km from the center, with a large living room, bedroom, equipped kitchen, fireplace and sauna and many useful accessories for your vacation, in an optimal position to see the Aurora even independently.
4. Breakfasts and dinners are all done independently, some lunches are included in the excursions, others independently in the places where the activity will be done, such as Santa Claus Village.
5. The use of a cottage is usually minimum for at least 2 people. Some cottages can also accommodate 10/12 people.
23.11.2025 Reindeer safari visit and lunch in a Finnish kota by the fire. Visit Oulanka Myllykoski National Park and Aurora hunting.
Ruka.
1. In the morning we will pick you up at your cabins at the scheduled time, then we will go on a local safari, we will enter the fantastic world of reindeer to go on a Safari with the Queens of Lapland, we will see one of the oldest enclosures in Finland, we will feed these beautiful animals, we will take photos and videos with them, a 1.5 km sleigh ride accompanied by the Lappish Shepherd. During the activity the life of the Reindeer will be explained to us together with the Lappish Shepherds.
2. After the Safari we will go to lunch in a Finnish Kota by a beautiful fire, we will eat a Reindeer soup or a salmon soup, together with bread, cheese and dessert, with some very good and delicious hot drinks.
3. But the day doesn’t end here. After lunch, a pleasant surprise for you, taking into account the start and end time of the activity with the reindeer safari, we will go to one of the most photographed places in Lapland. To the Oulanka Myllykoski National Park to visit an ancient Mill, surrounded by a fairytale landscape, a place more unique than rare so much its uncontested beauty. We could also anticipate the surprise before the Reindeer Safari, this will be evaluated on site.
4. After the visit to the Myylykoski, we will return to the cabin to relax in a sauna, waiting for evening news for a possible excursion to hunt the Northern Lights.

24.11.2025 Oulanka Kiutaköngäs National Park, mindfulness, Visit Ruka Village and Aurora hunting.
Ruka
1. In the morning as usual we meet at a set time, to take you to the beautiful and immense Oulanka National Park this time in Kiutaköngäs, we will go on an excursion on one of the most suggestive and beautiful forest trails in Lapland.
2. After about 30 minutes by car we will arrive at the park car park, from where the excursion will begin. The route is a circular path with a bit of an initial climb, it will be about 5 km, made up of a few climbs to cover, for safety and comfort with studded insoles under the boots.
3. On this excursion we will enter the superlative Finnish forest, we will cross some heavenly places, we will see an ancient reindeer enclosure, where we will explain the history of the reindeer and the Lappish shepherds, until we reach the waterfalls of the Oulanka River. Along the way we will arrive at a refuge where we will light a fire to warm up, we will grill our packed lunch and after a bit of relaxation, we will start walking again to reach the parking lot for our vehicles.
4. During the journey some pleasant and consolidated short moments of mindfulness with professional staff.
5. Once the activity is over we will return to Ruka Village, for a tour of the clubs and shops in the wonderful village, then we will return to the hut with a stop at the supermarket.
6. Once back at the hut for a well-deserved rest, always connected with the guides for the possibility of going out hunting for the aurora, one of the most heartfelt and exciting activities.
7. Estimated daily duration 7/8 hours.
25.11.2025 Santa Claus in Rovaniemi.
Ruka
1. The morning after breakfast, we will pass by your cabins and go to visit the one and only Santa Claus in his village in Rovaniemi, we will make the dream come true since we were children.
2. Once we arrive in Rovaniemi, in each place we visit you will receive all the instructions on what to see, in the village of Santa Claus. In the village there is the Santa Claus post office where you can send postcards to your friends and relatives, go around the shops and have lunch. Where we will stay until late afternoon to enjoy the whole day to the fullest.
3. In the late afternoon we will return to the cabin, along the way we will stop if necessary as usual at the supermarket.
4. Once we arrive at the cabin we will relax by the fireplace or in the sauna, always keeping an eye on the sky and always staying in touch with the guides for a possible excursion for the aurora.
5. Expected daily duration 9/10 hours.
26.11.2025 RIISITUNTURI National Park Aurora hunting
Posio.
1. In the morning we will pick you up by vehicle, then we will head for the most desired and heartfelt tourist activity, an excursion in the magnificent Riisitunturi National Park, a popular destination for everyone. The journey by car lasts approximately 35/40 minutes.
2. With your expert guides you will be given instructions to best experience the excursion in safety. Once you set off, you will explore one of the most important national parks in all of Scandinavia and Europe. It will be an unforgettable day, in one of the most beautiful areas of Finnish Lapland. The excursion will be accompanied by 2 guides, one of whom is a Finnish professional in mindfulness (meditation) and life coach, who will make you live a dream within a daydream, explaining every secret of the Park and Finnish culture, another Italian guide expert in excursions with over 25 years of experience in Finland and around the world.
3. The route we will take will be a 4.5 km ring on the Riisitunturi hill, initially there will be a slight climb the rest on the plain. At one point of the excursion we will reach a magnificent characteristic place, to be able to light a nice fire and take a lunch break. After the break we will walk towards the cars with a pleasant descent. During the route we will pass through areas of the magnificent Finnish taiga, until we reach a certain point where the trees begin to look like big and large snow giants. The famous Great Giants of the Great North protectors of this paradise.
4. At the end of the excursion, a trip to the supermarket and return to the hut.
5. Returning to the hut for a well-deserved rest, always in tune with the guides for the possibility of going out hunting for the aurora, one of the unique heart-pounding activities.
6. Estimated duration 5/6 hours.
27.11.2025 FREE DAY
Ruka. Free day.
1. Those who want can stay in Ruka all day relaxing in the cabin, lighting the fireplace and having fun in total autonomy.
2. For those who want to organize something, there are extra activities outside the program, which can be organized together with us. Such as spa centers, relaxing massages, personalized mindfulness sessions, mental coach, Lappish dinner etc…etc…
3. Everything must be agreed with the companion in advance to organize everything.
28.11.2025 Korouoma Grand Canyon Park and Aurora Hunt.
Posio. The Korouoma waterfalls in Posio Park, you will walk on the Canyon trail.
1. We will pick you up from your huts in the morning, after a hearty breakfast and leave in the direction of Posio, after about 1 hour, we will arrive at the parking lot, leave the cars and begin the route of about 5km. Along the way there will be points to cross with attention and caution, and having with you the mandatory nailed insoles to attach under the trekking boots. It requires a minimum of experience for trekking routes. Along the way we will always be there to explain the various climbing and descending techniques of the route, all in maximum safety and fun.
2. In the park you will see immense frozen waterfalls, which form with the rigid temperatures of extreme cold in the winter period. The park offers unique features that are only visible on this route, with the possibility of seeing animals such as reindeer, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, lynxes, otters, moose.
3. Almost at the end of the route there will be a stop in the equipped area, where you can light a fire and eat your own snack. The snack must be light, such as chocolate or a sandwich, because the last stretch will be a steep climb, a bit challenging, medium level but doable.
4. Once back at the cars, you will return to the Baita, along the journey you will stop in a place in the city of Posio where there is the possibility for those who want to eat independently.
5. Once you arrive in Ruka, stop at the supermarket and then everyone is free for a well-deserved relaxation with a sauna, dinner in front of the path.
6. Estimated duration 8/9 hours.
29.11.2025 Return.
Ruka. Last day of the holiday.
1. In the morning, calmly by 12:00 we will have to leave the huts, there will be the possibility of taking a walk near the surrounding forests.
2. Later we will pass by private means and depending on the time of your return, we can head towards the center of Ruka, to have lunch before departure and buy souvenirs in the shops.
3. Once the shopping is finished, we will go to the airport for boarding procedures.
It will be a super unforgettable holiday, with your bags full of emotions, joys and unforgettable memories.
